#NOMORE STOLEN SISTERS
On May 5th the Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre (CAIFC) Is Hosting A Visual Vigil to Honor and Remember MMIWG across Turtle Island
Red Dresses will be visibly displayed along the fence line at the new location of the Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre in Solidarity with Various Indigenous Activities across Canada and the USA to Remember Our Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
The Red Dress has become a symbol in raising awareness of MMIWG. Since 2017 Grassroots Actions on May 5 to Honor and Call for Justice for MMIWG has increasingly grown at the local, regional, national and international level.
Native families, Advocates and Indigenous Nations continue to rise up to challenge the silence, tolerance and limited action in response to the crisis of MMIWG.
